Default 2016 300c Door Panels

Door Panels front and rear look like they are swelling up and pulling away from the windows. Getting worse with time. Does anyone know the cause or cure? See attachments.

My guess is that water is getting in from somewhere.

There is at least one other person who has thoughts along your suspicion. https://mail.yahoo.com/d/folders/1/messages/60608 New attachments

Hey Guys,
My 2017 300c Platinum is experiencing the same problem. I took it to the dealer and he said it was a very common problem on Charger / 300 vehicles. He said it is caused by sun load and he ordered two panels under warranty.

Hope this helps.

Jeff

Say Easy1 and Dr.Dodge, what part of the country do you guys live in?

My 2012 300c lives in central FL but it is low mileage and garage kept anf so far does not show any sun load/warpage.

I'm in Indian Trail, NC, but my car was purchased second hand from a rental agency. It has very low miles, but the sun load theory makes sense since it is only affecting both passenger side door panels. Perhaps it was parked outside and sitting in hot sun on that side?

Thank you Laura. I am working with Todd at Stateline Chrysler in Rock Hill SC.

In the 15 years as a technician at dealerships, I can honestly say that he has given me the best service I have ever seen from a service writer. And that's saying something because I am being super nit picky and he gives me daily updates for all the line items on my repair order.

Default 2018 300, door panel issue.

6 months ago the passenger door started the same issue on our 2018 300, my local dealer said it was a common issue, they ordered a replacement panel. I have checked monthly and they have been on back ordered. I called dodge directly Friday and a manager is to call me on Monday. Dealership suggested I call and vent my frustrations, they stated a customer has more influence on things like this, strange to me.
Hopefully, it will get resolved soon.
