I have a PS failure in my 300. I replaced the whole rack and pinion/PS with a salvage yard part. It still throws a PS failure. I know this part could still be bad though now I am getting skeptical.
The non dealership mechanic said he thought there was no communication from the computer to the PS. Checked fuses etc.
Is there something else to check on this before it heads to the dealership on the 28th? I know they are just going to want to put a new one on and it is $2,020. Then realize it is some other issue.
