2018 300 Limited Stereo system upgrade
Hello I'm new to the forum, I'm at the end of my second tour and just purchased the 300 Limited with all packages. The factory system is the Alpine 6 speaker system. I plan on upgrading it as soon as I get home with the following
Oem interface- JL Fix 86
Fronts and tweeters- Morel Hybrid 502 (passive)
Amp- Rockford Fosgate Punch P1000x2
Subs- JL CS212G-W6v3
Amp- Rockford Fosgate Punch P1000x2
Rims- 2Crave number 2 chrome rims 20in
Tent- not sure
Sound dampening- Noico 80 mil
I was going to pay an installer but they want way to much. I figured I can figure this stuff out myself. I wanted to get a second opinion on the system though. I've never only ran 2 speakers in a car, I've also never used the Tun software (playing around with it now). Does anyone have any experiance with Tun software? Where would be a good place to mount the crossovers as well as the Fix so I can easily plug into it without having to take the dash apart? Any other system recommendations?
