300C awd Vibration
I Have a 2005 300 C AWD and have been having problems since 8/05 with a vibration coming from the steering when you turn it all the way such as in a tight corner turn. I have taken it in to the dealer several times alerady, and so far they can find nothing wrong with it.
Does anyone know of a similar issue?
please help.

I just started noticing the same thing in my 2006 300 TOURING AWD but havent taken it in yet. I did notice that after 5 miles or so it go away but it doesnt seen to matter if its warm or cold out. And it seems to happen after the car sit for 8 hours (during work) or so. I only have 8000 miles on my car. Anyone else having the problem ?

I had that in my Magnum AWD, Chrysler Europe told the dealer to put in a new transfer case. Had to do with the placement of a vent hose letting in water. New case has different setup for the hose.
Here are the details for the Magnum TSB:

Well, I got the car back and the paperwork says that they did the repair per the TSB I mentioned in my above post. All seems well now but I have my doubts. Know where in the TSB I referenced did it say anything about rerouting a vent tube to prevent this from happening again, and I dont believe that the Magnum and 300 differ enough that the repair on the Magnum requires the vent tube modification and the 300 does not. Time will tell.
Just for future reference. You can click on "TSBs" on the top of the forum....

all we need now is a login and PW and we can goto Star Online.
EDIT: ya, looked there on the TSB tab.......... seems to be a very large amount of info missing ????
but oh well, my login works just as good on dealerconnect.
