Default 300m burning oil

So over the winter I drive my 2000 300m so it sits all summer. I go to start it up the other day and it starts leaking coolant that was easy fix. Then I start it up again about a week later and I see it started smoking oil from the passenger side looks like it was burning off the headers. This car only has 64.xxx miles. Has anyone else had this problem ? Was wondering if it is common.

Are you sure it's oil burning off and not coolant spilled from the previous repair? If you're convinced that it's oil, check the valve covers. Gently tighten them down. DON'T go ape and over-tighten them or you'll break the bolts or warp the covers and make it worse.
