Default AC Vents Switch Randomly with Very Loud Creaking Noise

I have a 2013 300S and I recently got my Temp Actuator and Vent Actuator replaced. Since then, whenever I start my car there is a very loud creaking sound coming from the dash area under the steering wheel area and the AC switches the vents that it's coming out of but stops for some reason when my car reaches the halfway engine temp mark. I don't know what's going on and if anyone knows I would appreciate it.

My guess is faulty installation and/or failure to reprogram the hvac system. Was this a dealer service job?

No it was a local mechanic so most likely that's the problem

FWIW my policy on service provider selection is- if it involves/requires any sort of software reprogramming, the dealer gets the job. This is not always obvious to the untrained public. Prior to having my heater recirculate door replaced, I would not have guessed that software reprogramming was required. Good luck on getting it sorted and do let us know how it all worked out.

I should add that if you have an independent mechanic who has the education and has made the investment in Chrysler software then he/she is equal to a dealer, maybe preferable to a dealer.

man, HVAC issues are the worst. I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a loose connection. not saying that's your issue, but might be worth checking? good luck!
