Default adaptive cruise control 2014 Chrysler 300C intermittent
Sometimes the ACC can be turned and other times it cant. Lately it just quit. $1200 for a new one is excessive. The dealership is guessing at the problem but not at my expense. The eye is clean.
Does someone here know what would cause the problem?

When mine failed it was the switch cluster.

Fixed it. Punched the speed control buttons on the steering wheel with my fist. No problem since then. And the dealership was going to charge me $2000 for a new sensor??? Not this time pal....

Back in the day we would smack the TV set to get it to work...apparently that same process works today.
