Angry bluetooth phone issue

phone page stuck in loop stating "Hand-Free System Loading. Please Wait..."

Settings page. When touching Phone/Bluetooth nothing happens.

I have a 2013 300c JV with about 33k miles. Bluetooth and electronics have been working fine, but suddenly my phone will not connect any longer. In the phone settings, the msg states "hands-free device loading..." and seems to be stuck in a search loop. I have downloaded and updated the latest UConnect software, no change. I attempted 'soft reset' by holding volume and tune buttons down with engine off, in ACC, in Run, and with engine running, nothing happens. Phone connects to our other can without a problem so it must be a uconnect issue. Is there any way to remedy without taking to the dealer?

Derek & Sheron.

How much did your phone cost?
How much do you think the dealer will charge to tell you what's wrong?
Then you can decide if you want to spend add'l $ to fix it. Just a thought.

Just curious if disconnecting the battery for 15+ minutes would reset the unit enough to fix the issue... Worth a try.
