Default Cruise Control Won't Turn on

The cruise control on my 2012 300 does not work properly every time. Sometimes when you press the ON button it will not turn on, sometimes it does. When it does turn on everything works correctly. This seemed to start happening about 4 to 5 months ago. It appears that if the ON button doesn't turn on the control it cannot be turned on until you shutdown the car and restart. After restarting it may work and it may not.

Any ideas?

CharlieC,

Is your 300 equipped with adaptive cruise control?
I would also recommend taking your vehicle to your local dealer for an inspection.

CharlieC,

Thanks for the update.
Considering the cause could be any number of things, it's best to have your vehicle inspected by your dealer in an effort to duplicate the cruise control issue and resolve accordingly.
