We just bought a 1997 town and country lx and everything is great on it but the cruise control will not set the speed, its comes on when you push the on button but will not set at any speed. I heard that the clockspring can cause it not to function at all but would it cause it not to set the speed of the vehicle? I've looked for a fuse but can't find one for the cruise control. Anyone with any ideas on what could be the problem? Any info is appreciated.

 

try the brake switch its under the brake pedal its cheap but it may be the problem
its a one time adjust switch so dont play with it.
insatll it and step on the brake it adjusts itself.
its only one plug so easy install
