Difference in 300 shifters 2011+...?

Default Difference in 300 shifters 2011+...?
Can someone explain the differences between the two types of shifters I keep seeing on the 300 years 2011+...?

It appears that the nicer looking shift (lower) is the one for the V6 8-speed transmission...

And the taller shifter (top) is the shifter for the 5-speed transmission for both the V6 and V8...
