Default Floorboard getting wet, 99, 300 m

We just got this car, and the drivers side floorboard gets wet every time it rains, I see the clear tube, coming out of the door jamb. Does anyone have any idea if I need to check back from the end of the tube? Or do I have another problem. This is my first post, I hope I am in the right place for asking questions, thank you

Have you looked at the floor for holes or perforates rust? I had a 99 M and it was in great shape except for the floor. Especially where your left foot rests and where the seat bolts gonthrough the floor.

If you have a sun roof, the tube may be the drain tube, and it may be blocked. At least that was the problem in my Buick...I suspect the 300 would have a drain tube also.

Yes it does have a sunroof, I thought that drain tube came from under the hood. And by the way the sunroof does not work. I have not had a chance to check it out yet

This is weird, I am having the same issue with my step-daughters 2000 300m. She said that the carpet was wet. That was an understatement. Both sides, front and back, were soaked with water above the carpet. Vacuumed lots of water out and started pulling carpet up some to air it out. Also found water under the rear seat bottom. Ended up finding a large rusted hole under the front passenger seat. Still don't know if that would cause the water to get under the rear seat and on the drivers side.
