Having I think a bad ground problem

Default Having I think a bad ground problem

I’m having a problem as though where my 2005 Chrysler 300c won’t Run I’ll get a slow crank then nothing my engine wire harness heats up when trying to jump start it I changed my starter after and it still does the same thing it’s to the point if I put a jump box on the battery it won’t jump because it pops up as a bad ground some piece crap mechanic cut a wire and did some bull but i realized he didn’t know what he was doing so I got it back I was wondering if it could have something todo with me previously getting my transmission changed can someone help I know the wire that was on the engine harness that heated up was black and red

trace all the grounds to the engine then clean and not rusty is what you want.
