We purchased a 2013 Chrysler 300 this past summer. Everything appeared fine, then 2 weeks ago I went to get in and it wouldn't shift out of park. The mechanic replaced the gearshift control assembly and gave us a handout of error codes that his scanner recorded. According to him, it's an "electrical nightmare". Can anyone explain in non-technical terms what any of this means? All I get from searching is mechanic-speak.

I would suggest now that you have them all listed, clear them all and then address the ones that come back active
a stored code could have been caused by one thing but is now not an issue
