Hey guys, Im looking to by a 2005 300C and was wondering if there has been any major problems, or anything i should be looking for?

It was the 2005 Motor Trend Car of the Year if that helps out any.

 

I looked a 1/2 dozen before buying mine. A couple of items I noticed when driving them (all "C's" all w/ low mileage). Several produced white smoke at start up, while others did not. I passed on those that did.

Other thing I noticed is that some had a much smoother acceleration pull than others. I believe those that did not pull as well most likely had similar rough idling and rougher shifts as outlined in TSBs and other threads on this site.
