Question Randomly stopping acceleration

Hello,

2010 Chrysler 300C 5.7 hemi.

The car has been inspected and is in great condition other than cylinder 3 being flagged with an unknown problem. When I was driving it home the check engine light would blink and would not allow me to accelerate until it stopped blinking and making noise (for about 2-3 seconds). Another thing is that the engine in idle seems to shake a lot and hesitate (jerking forward) in low speeds which the mechanic said is probably from coils or sparkplugs that need to be changed later. Other than this, the car drives perfectly fine. Would also like to add that there seems to be no correlation to when or why the check engine light would start blinking.

I am going to have it checked out later but if anyone could give any insight to what might be causing the car to not accelerate while the engine light blinks would be great.

What are the active and stored diagnostic codes? An active code will light the check engine light. A stored code is a previously active code and is stored for 30 or so engine starts unless it has been manually cleared. If the check engine was on, there will be a stored code.
