Default researching to buy - what year to get?

Hi all, new to the forum.

I'm looking to buy a 300S, I'm trying to narrow down what year to buy, I believe there was a change in 2015? I also see differences in the noses, is this just by year? or by model? Are there any other changes by year going newer? I plan on moding a bit, I'd like to add a splitter, exhaust, possible rear spoiler depending, and lower it. I'm putting my beast, my 07 Jeep Wrangler, up for sale, I run 40's there's really nothing left to put on it, I lost the use of my left arm in a car accident (not my fault), it's simply too much to drive.

I'm disappointed to be selling my truck, but looking forward to a new chapter, and really getting excited to getting the correct car, then exploring modifying it.

Any input or advice anyone can give, what to look for, what to look out for.

Thx

Were I you, I would go for the lowest mileage 2nd generation consistent with my budget I could find.

My ceiling is around $30k, is there a base S? or options, I'm also curious about the rear deck spoiler, is it an option ?, or what years? is it just as easy to add one?

Another is there a big difference in the C, I See it comes in a 6 and 8 option, is there a big difference in gas milage w the 8, options?

I know I can research a lot on line but there's always opposing info, I'd rather go through a forum

Thx!

I can't address most of your questions but for me it's the HEMI and the SafetyTec option. Look it up. lots of useful stuff
