i'd put the tail light just below the rear glass and call it a hot-rod mod.
because i think the car would look great with no fender behind the rear tire (just bumper).
give it a bubble butt like a pt cruiser's rear end and the car would for sure be considered a hot-rod.

i dont know what would need to be cut on the inside of the trunk shell, but the outside would be fairly easy to snip and shorten.

just my thoughts..
anybody agree?
