Some months ago, the lower bumper portion of my 2004 Pacifica fell off while driving down the highway. The dealer tells me that it is not covered under the warranty although he stated that if I had retrieved it, I may have beeneligible for a replacement. I explained that the Hwy in question was extremely busy and even if I had known that this was a condition of obtaining a replacement, I would have never ventured out there to retrieve it. In fact, the State Police indicated to me that they would have fined me for dangerous actions on an Interstate if I had tried.
I see other Pacifica's around without their lower bumper sections and was wondering if their is a recall going on or others with perhaps solutions for this faulty engineering.
The repalcement cost plus installation is approx. $400.00

i doubt it just fell off more like over bums or down hills and scraped off the trim clips I see that more then often. Bumper covers or air dams dont just fall off with out some sorta help.
