Default Suspension issues.

Hello all.
New guy here trying to find out some information. I purchased a 2011 300 limited 2 years ago new. This weekend me and my wife were on vacation coming down a local mountain (hill to me but they call it a mountain ). As we were descending we heard a pop and then a slight grinding noise. It went away quick.
I thought it was the transmission at first because I had put it in 2nd to go up and come back down the grades (15-25mph). Once we got down and were headed home we heard the grinding again at a stop light. This time I heard it long enough to realize it was not a metallic grinding noise. I pulled over and checked the tires. I found that the front left was being "grooved" by the upper control arm mount bolt. At the time I stopped and checked it was no longer touching the tire.
We took it to our dealer and they said they can find nothing wrong with the suspension. I know something had to be wrong but I'm not sure what. I want it fixed because the car has 30500 miles on it and I do not want to be replacing parts as soon as my warrenty goes out. Any ideas? I know on some other forums reps are available to talk to and document work done/not done. Sorry for the long post just trying to make things clear. Thanks for any info.

Little more info. It is a limited with the "touring" suspension and wheels.
