tmiming alignmet

Default tmiming alignmet




it was limed up perfectly before i took tensioner off, what do i do from here, the white lines are the timing marks send help 😭

I can see the cam sprockets moving because they are under tension from the springs the crank though is not loaded so how did that move? Regardless move the crank up to the correct make the little notch on the back half of the sprocket . The white mark on the crank you have is not correct the notch matched with the TDC mark. Use a 17mm wrench and move the right sprocket back over to the mark .
Little tip wrap the belt on the crank then around the water pump then to the right sprocket. Move the right sprocket to the right about 1 tooth then put the belt on then move the sprocket back to the center this will keep the belt on the right side tight. Make sure the crank did not move when you put the sprocket back in alignment. You can do the same with the left sprocket. Release the tensioner then rotate the engine 2 full turns see if the notches align back up if not do it again.
