For those that are interested. I have a 2010 Touring. I've already swapped out the front sway bar with a 30mm and installed a 19mm on the rear. What was Chrysler thinking not putting one on the Touring? This alone made a dramatic, REALLY dramatic difference in handling. I purchased a set of springs from a 2009 SRT8 Challenger. This weekend I had enough time to install just the rears. As others have mentioned it dropped the rear exactly 1". I don't notice that it has affected the ride quality although it has bit of a sense of being more "sure" in corners. Similar to when I first installed the rear sway bar but not as dramatic effect on understeer. It's very balanced now. I'm staying with Touring shocks, that seems to be the ticket in maintaining a nice ride. It's a little dirty right now, but here's a pic. BTW, if, like me, you never tackled swapping springs before, it was very easy. After dropping the exhaust, it only requires removal of 1 bolt on each side and a floor jack to lower the suspension arm. Easy peazy. It took me 2 hours total from chocking the wheels, raising and safety stands, do the work, dropping and clean up. I didn't even remove the wheels or shock bolts. There's a trick you can use and keeping the wheels on helps with that.
Update. I finally had the time to swap out the front springs. Below is a picture at the same location now with both the front and rear springs changed out. The front also dropped 1". Ride quality/difference isn't really noticeable. The difference in handling is subtle, but I can describe it this way. While adding the "right" sway bars balanced the turning and made it rotate through the corners eliminating(in a street setting) the front end plowing, the change of the front springs makes it feel more like the front end is cutting into the corner while not feeling like the back end it coming around.
