Default 08 Aspen 5.7l preformance mods?

Hello i have a 08 apsen 5.7l 4x4 model. i wanted to know what the best performance mods are for this vehicle? i know the usual like cai and cat back or header back exhaust but are there any specific cai's or header back exhausts you recommend? also are there any lift kits for these? i only want a 2 or maybe 2.5 inch. i just find it unacceptable that these suvs cant even go over a curb without the skid plate on the gas tank bottoming out. i bought a suv for a reason not so i can have a 5000lb 300hp race car. i wanted a functional while luxurious suv. Thanks for any help you guys may be!

Visit your local truck shop for beefy stuff. Don't forget that the Aspen is a Dodge underneath all the niceties.

Yeah I know that's always an option but I like doing everything my self If I can for multiple reasons. Next question....is would a Durango lift kit for the same year work on my setup?

Durango 04-09 = Aspen 07-09 (for the most part). Various Hemi-specific add-ons changed in 09 (air intake, etc.)
