08 Aspen EVIC msg says gate OPEN when it's NOT!
I own an 08 Aspen, 4.7l, I'll get right to the point don't want to take up too much time etc. The evic is showing ''gate is open" when its not!!! Dealer wants $$$ just to tell me whats wrong (what else is new) can't or won't give me any clue what it may cost me. Plus they never heard of this problem before, yeah right! I called chrysler and they also tell me no tsb or recalls that they know of existing. I wouldn't mind so much but i haven't been gainfully employed for some time now. I hear thats a common occurence for a few ppl around the country. Anyway I'd appreciate it if anyone can give me some info on this issue. I did some research and found Jeeps in the late 90's had this problem too. tia
