2000 sebring LXI
Hi all I'm a newbie and I own a sebring and love it. No major problems just the usual oil changes, brakes, exhaust. I was wondering if anyone really knows anything about the new Aspens. I was thinking on getting one but don't know or hear too much about them. Can anyone give me some insite?

Check out a Durango forum and you'll see a lot more information posted on essentially the same vehicle (2004+ Durango = 2007+ Aspen).
I have an 08 with the Hemi engine and every option - 27k miles on it now. It's been pretty much flawless with zero issues. No mechanical issues, no squeaks or rattles, nothing broken, no electrical issues, no quirks, nothing.
The only negatives are a somewhat vague brake pedal in my opinion, and horrible gas mileage. A 5.7 liter Hemi engine in a 2 ton truck simply can't produce good mileage, regardless of MDS. I've gotten around 18 in ideal highway driving conditions at a constant speed. Around town expect 12-13 (really!). The engine will run fine on regular gas, but midgrade is recommended for the Hemi engine. If you use regular, expect the engine to retard timing to keep it from knocking, which will result in lower horsepower and less fuel efficiency.
Good luck, and let us know if you have specific questions.
