Default 2007 Alternator issue

Hi. I need help! I'm trying to replace the alternator on my 2007 aspen. The one I got from the auto supply shop has a different plug from the original, even though their system says I have the correct one. It's a Dixie A-80373. Looking on the Dixie website it shows 2 different alternators for the 2007 Aspen. A A-80373 6S, and a A-80373 7S. While the new one I have doesn't state 6S or 7S, I noticed that there is a 7S in my serial number. Did Chrysler change alternators part way through the production year? If so, what other vehicle would have the one I need? Something I could give my parts guy to go on. Any info would be great!

Thanks!

When my alternator failed, I took it to an alternator/starter repair shop. They replaced the bad components/rebuilt it, for a lot less money than a replacement.
