Ever since we got our 2007 Aspen the A/C has been luke warm to say the least. Every other SUV we owned would spit ice at you, but this just won't cool off. We figured it was low on freon, and being my dad was an A/C service expert at a shop, he thought we could just top it off like we do every other car we own. Granted all the other cars are 80's and 90's cars . SOOO we got out the 134a keg and the gauges, hooked everything up and ohh baby were those pressures weird. The low side was 55psi and the high side was 375-400psi. So we touched nothing. anyone here know what might be up with those readings?

 

how hot was it outside? if your dad was the ac expert he should know this kinda info the ac systems still work the same way as they did back then.
