2008 Aspen with possible issues
Hi all, new member, first time poster, so be gentle!
I recently came into ownership of a 2008 Aspen. It has 225k miles on the engine, 70k on the diff. It drives fine, aside from having to replace two pulleys in the last month due to bearings going bad. Getting about 11.4 mpg city. When I got the vehicle, it came with several check engine codes, that I had questions about. They are p0455, p0456, p3425,p3441, p0882, p0876, and p0750. Now I would classify myself as a youtube mechanic, I have done stuff like brakes, radiators, water pumps, fuel pumps etc, but nothing in the engine or transmission itself. Now like I said, we arent experiencing any performance issues, and when I asked the previous owner about the codes, he claimed they had been there for a while, and that his mechanic had told him not to worry about it. ( I didnt pay anything for it, in case you were wondering, the previous owner just didnt want it anymore, so I got it from him as is.) My question is, are these codes something I need to deal with soon, or later, and if so ,which codes are more pressing than others? Also, are any of these things simple to deal with ( again think YouTube mechanic), or do they need to be taken care of by someone who actually knows what they are doing? Thanks in advance!
