Default Bad doors

I have a 2008 Chrysler Aspen. The doors are already starting to rust. it has 71000 miles on the car. Is Chrysler Corp. going to do the right thing , and recall our vehicles too fix the rust problem ? My very first Dodge and chrysler product and might be my last, unless they stand by their products.very very upset, Also have a 2004 dodge 1500 ram 5.7 hemi 4x4, which is a great truck.

Go to your dealer, show them the damage, and ask them to cover it under the corrosion warranty. Worked for me for the same problem. Ask them to take photos of the damage and submit them to corporate for repair authorization.

No need to get "very upset" -- just go address the problem.

If you don't take the bull by the horns and be proactive, no one else will do it for you.

I too have rusty doors. I called Chrysler and my local dealer in March of 2013. They gave me a case number but told me nothing would be done until it rusted through to the exterior. Now that it has, I am just past the warranty. The dealer initially told me that they would cover most of the repair and Chrysler had said they authorized the dealer to act on the repair. Now, after they put me off for another three months while they said the body shop and the warranty rep discussed it, they denied any coverage. Anyone else have any luck with this??

I did (see post #4, above), but the problem has returned. It took awhile to convince the dealer and corporate do to the repair the first time, and apparently they didn't do a great job. Here's the discussion documenting what I went through to get the work done. I even had issues with the dealer claiming the truck must have had water damage.
