I'm willing to bet the display board is probably on the fritz. When I replaced the bulbs, I noticed that board would be pretty easy to replace as well..

I am replying late to get this story straight. IF your problem is the lighting of buttons, and not the screen, then you only need to replace two screw-in bulbs as described above. DO NOT buy a new unit. If screen is out, sorry about your luck. Bigger repair or replacement.
