Default Code Reader For 2007 Aspen

I'm looking for a code reader that will work on my 2007 Aspen.
I thought I read that this year had the new OBDIII computer, and the older OBDII readers would not work.
Can anyone recommend a certain brand/unit, and where I can get it?

I picked up an Actron CP9580A after my previous Actron reader (CP9135) wouldn't read. I went to Autozone to have them check a code and it's what they used. Since it worked so well, I went and found one on eBay. It's sold at auto parts stores as well for about $250, but I found it a little cheaper on eBay. Works really well and is informative. Can also be updated via USB to computer.

I have an CEN-TECH from Harbor Freight. Works on the ASPEN as well as my other vehicles (Maxima, escalade, PT Cruiser, etc). It was the best available (features and price). Harbor freight sales a couple of them but the Item number for this one is 60794.
