I recently purchased an 08 Aspen that has the in dash 20 gig my gig with Nav and DVD but it won't allow input into the Nav while in motion and won't allow the DVD to play on the in dash screen while out of park. I have found a few online companies who can reprogram it to allow that as well as back up camera viewing while not in reverse. My reservation is that I am supposed to mail my whole unit into them and for $99 they will reprogram it but what's to keep them from keeping my radio or whatever. Have any of you done this or found another solution that doesn't require mailing it out? He also sells a wiring harness for $250 that does the same thing but why waste $150 more so the same end?
