E85 Flexfuel
Anyone running this in their aspen? We have an 07 4.7L. We just got a new station in town a week ago that now carries E85. I haven't noticed a performance or power difference but as expected I did noice a mpg difference. Fuel here is $3.15/gal, E85 is $2.19. In town I went from approx 13mpg to 9.8mpg, city went from 17/18mpg to 13/14mpg.
E85 is usually cheaper than regular gas because it delivers 5-12% fewer miles per gallon, according to the National Ethanol Vehicle Coalition (NEVC). Federal and state incentives also push the price lower.
U will get no performane increase with e85 if u were to do a graph of how much u spend on reg and e85 there will be a cross road to which e85 will cost u more in the long time because u will need to fill up more times then normal gas.

Well aware. I was almost expecting a slight performance difference, especially when accelerating since E85 is only 15% gassoline and has far less energy output (hence the decreased mpg). I was just sharing my observations in using the new E85 gas since it isn't really mainstream yet.
