hello, looking for advice on how the front bumper chrome clip actually hooks into the chrome piece so I can replace that chrome piece, pictured is the old piece, the pieces attached to the chrome piece broke when we removed the chrome piece, I have another nicer whole chrome piece to install

Im in the same boat. I had a fender bender and I replaced my front bumper and bought new chrome trim just like this one. I didnt know to order the clips and Im having trouble getting the correct ones. Are these universal? Can I order a different clip that will work? The chrome trim came with double sided tape but thats not going to keep it on at 75mph. Maybe bumping this thread to the top will get an answer.
