Good afternoon everyone.
I am in the process of changing my grand voyager 2.8crd engine due to the last ones valve stem snapping and allowing the end of the valve to jump around in the piston pot which has caused major damage.
I have the new engine on the bench and has had a new timing kit, water pump, crankshaft seals and oil cooler seals. I was wondering whether anyone has done an engine swap on these without actually removing the gearbox. It seems a shame to remove it if it's not necessary. Any information is greatly appreciated.
