Just picked up my 2009 Aspen. I noticed that under AVG MPG on the VIC display it didn't tell me when I was in "fuel saver" mode. Did Chrysler do away with this on the 09 models or doesn't the MDS kick in when the car is brand new?

 

The 09's do have that feature and it does not matter if the vehicle is new or not. I assume you are not always accelerating when you are looking at the EVIC and that you do have the 5.7. If you still don't see the msg, then something else is the problem.
