oil change

Default oil change

i noticed the owners manual said change oil ever 6,000 miles i always changed oil ever 3,000 mile on any vehicle i ever owned. any one go 6,000 on there aspen.

The Aspen has Synthetic oil in it? 6000miles for synthetic is just warming up in my opinion, but that would be either Ams/oil or Mobil 1 only.

I'll agree the initial cost is more, but in the long run, the engine will last longer, it will be quieter, fuel economy will improve,(sometimes), winter cold starts are much easier on everything, and last but not least, the interval of changing Amsoil or Mobil 1 is much, much greater than a dino oil, or blend.
