Stereo harness

Wire harness adapter
This system relies on communication to and from several external modules in order for the head unit to operate. Give up the aftermarket radio idea, get a reman or send to vendors (look online , they're out there)
These communications are required to be a "check good" in order for the TPIS to "approve" power/illumination/correct start display"
1. Drivers setting
2. SAT function available / not available
3. VES rear control available /not available
4. Rear VES video previous function
5. Illumination setting
6. Current ambient cabin temp.
7. Auto climate setting
8. Previous authorize for VES and head only vol. control
these are some of 'em....catch my drift.
Im sure in the past you've seen "driver's setting #1 active" displayed on the screen on engine start. That is an example of a combo of the checks and how integrated this system is to the vehicle. Some have installed or tried to "aftermarket" this deal. They claim success, however, the audio input through the factory amp system is not the proper resistance and quickly burn the amp system up. Just was thinking, later
