I just purchased a 2007 Town & Country LX that has a CD/Tape combo stereo.

I wanted to replace it with a Pioneer stereo, so I went to Best Buy. The people at Best Buy told me that all Chrysler products 2007 and newer have a redone stereo wiring system, and the stereo wiring harnesses that they used to use no longer work.

Instead of buying a $20 wiring harness to attach the stereo to the vehicle, they said I needed a $130 harness.

Can anyone tell me anything about this?

Is there somewhere I can get this harness cheaper than $130?

Try http://www.crutchfield.com I had bought a pioneer from them and they included a harness for my 07 Aspen, just a thought, they are a little more expensive, but they do provide a great tech service.
