Just picked up my new to me 2009 Aspen, 55K, loaded. I bought this to trailer a 3500 pound camper and have a question about a trailer brake controller.

Specifically, can I use Mopar 82213173 on this vehicle?

I have AHC (tow prep package) sales code and I have checked under the dash and I DO HAVE the plug. However, there is a huge amount of confusion on this.

I think I need someone who actually tried (and hopefully succeeded) this (or another Mopar trailer brake controller [because I see some different part numbers for this same looking device]).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Never mind. While I did not get the answer, I did have a super nice guy to give me an aftermarket trailer brake controller. I still have to wire it up and there may be a chance I have an issue but Im abandoning the Mopar controller in favor of this one.
