Car will not start after a flat battery
Hello,
I had a flat battery that was replaced okay and when i came to start the car all the lights on the dashboard came on but the car would not start.
I got the battery tested and a mechanic ran a diagnostic on the car who said it was the ignition. The key unlocks and locks the car and all the lights on the dashboard come on fine.
Does anyone know of a mechanic in the Manchester area who knows how to get my car started as no one will come out to look at it because it's a Chrysler Crossfire :-)
I am near the Manchester City football ground.
Getting a mechanic to look at my car appears to be a challenge whenever there's a problem.

i am fine with everyone asking questions, but I am not a mechanic, so I was asking for one.
I am also amazed that getting a mechanic who will turn up and get the car started is like mission impossible :-)
There was a time when you could get a mechanic to help but now they just look in horror when I mention its a Chrysler crossfire .... :-D

Hello,
I managed to get an electrician to look at it. He "waggled" the fuse box relay, and it started.
I have ordered a brand new one "Order confirmed: Mercedes-Benz Genuine Engine Management Relay Module Fits R170 A1705450305"
Thanks
Phillip

Hello All.
I originally got someone with a diagnostic machine, who said it was the ignition. I got an electrician, who "waggled" the fuse box relay, and it started.
I do not think diagnostic machines are helpful to be honest as I did get a bad diagnosis originally.
