Default '04 Pac. No audio output

When I returned from an extended trip recently, I found the battery in my '04 Pacifica to be dead. No problem. After charging it for several hours, it sprang back to life. Everything did except for the audio system, that is. Now, the radio turns on and displays both AM and FM stations, but no sound comes from it. The same is true for the tape and single CD functions. The "Mode" switch on the radio no longer accesses the 6 CD/DVD changer, although the DVD system still displays video on the screen, just without sound. Also, the audio controls on the steering wheel are inoperative. I tried disconnecting/re-connecting the battery cables, and verified that all underhood fuses are good. Anyone have any thoughts?

BTW, I've followed all the old threads and found many describing similar problems, but I haven't found any solutions posted. Here's hoping. Thanks in advance.
