Just cleaned the circular butterfly valve inside the throttle body and when i started the car and waited over 5 mins I pressed the gas. When the RPM's got to 3000 i started to hear a click???

Been reading online and they say that is by default that pacifica's don't rev up more than 3000 rpm in park?

 

That's right, you hit the rev limiter, won't go higher in Park. It's there to protect the engine.
