Traction control - click or beep?

Traction control - click or beep?
I have a 2004 Pacifica. Since I've had it it's been squirrelly. If I turn a corner where it's wet, I slide all over the place.I also feel slipping if I accelerate while crossing water where there's highway paint, such as a crosswalk. The dealer always says no codes are coming up as far as the traction control system.
Inoticed today in the owner's manual it says you will hear a click or a beep when the traction control engages. I have never heard either. I do get a light that comes on on my dash indicating if it's on or off.
Does anyone else have an audible click or beep when they engage their traction control system?
Thanks in advance.

RE: Traction control - click or beep?
I have not heard a click or beep other then the actual traction control working in the ABS hydralic unit. The trac control in your 04 Pac is not an ESP [electronic stability program] set up. So going around a corner, the trac control would really have no effect. Try accelerating on some gravel from a stand still. Even if you do not hear the Trac control engage, you should still see the trac control indicator lamp light up.
