hello,
I am working on my friends pacifica 3.5 Limited 2005.
the driver rear window stop working about 2 months ago, the Passenger Rear is down and not working this happened last night.
I checked fuses good
ignition on i push the window button i hear relay clicking but no window movement.
so is it window motor, or regulator? or both.
in Auto zone they sell just motor, or kit motor with regulator. what to buy?

Get a wiring diagram and check voltages to the motor from the switch....guessing that the master switch (normally by driver) and the local switch I'll call it don't work. If you have a power probe or another 12v source and a ground try to test the motor inside the door by unplugging it and hooking up your other source to see if it works. In my experiences I have never bought just the motor but I got the whole regulator and motor combo from like Dorman. I would rule out switches and make sure it's the motor and buy the whole assembly. All those pieces are plastic and wear quite a bit normally. They also wear with each other so it might not fit exactly. so if you find it is just the motor or just the regulator.. Whether its one or the other or both...just get the assembly complete assembly with both motor and regulator. I have not done one on a PAC but I have done at least 20 other types of cars and that is what I found out. Hope this helps

 

ya i was going to unplug the window motor and test it solo, see if works.
