Default 05 Pacifica awd - replacement nuts & bolts for control arms

My neighbor has been working on his mother's 05 Pacifica awd, replacing the front control arms. One of the nuts had to be cut off. He can't find a replacement for it anywhere. It's odd...it has a flat piece of metal that shoots off of it. He thinks it's called a flag nut, but isn't positive. Bear with me here, I'm not mechanically inclined...It's where the back of the control arm connected to the frame connects the two black boots that look like a wishbone on the control arm. I hope that makes sense. Anyway, anyone here with any experience with this area that knows the correct name of this nut and if it's even replaceable? Or if there's a substitute ? Any help is greatly appreciated!

The only purpose of that tab is to stop the nut from turning without the need for the assembly line tech to use a wrench to hold the nut, which saves time.

A grade 8 nut(with a washer) of the appropriate thread will work just fine, he'll just need to hold it with a wrench to get it tight.
