Question 05 pacifica gas gauge problem

I own a 2005 pacifica. When I hit around a 1/2 tank my gauge drops to 30 miles to E and then on down to 0. I can turn my car off or park on a slight slop and it goes back to 1/2 a tank. It also takes 20 min to put gas in the tank. I saw on here where you can reflash the CM. I was wondering if that would work on mine. The last 8 of my VIN is 5R527119. Any help would be great.

Default Same Problem

I bought my 2005 Pacifica used and I'm having the exact same problem.
Upon further investigation, the previous owner had the f44 recall fixed in 2007.
Does anyone know how much, around about, this would be to be fixed again?
