Default 06 Pacifica battery light

My battery light has started to come on everytime it rains or snows. The light comes on for only a few minutes and then goes off. None of the dash lights go dim or anything esle. Does anyone have any suggestions. Also it gets cold in MI but it starts right up every morning.

Default 06 Pacifica caught fire while driving

Well the post checked out fine and the light hasn't came back on. This past Thursday I was driving and the engine began to smoke. Smoke began filling the inside of the vehicle as well. I pull over and you could smell something burning. Well I had the vehicle towed to my nearest Chrysler dealer. They called me and said that it was some kind of electrical problem which was sending to much fuel to the engine. This caused the catalynic converter to overheat which caused a fire in the back of the motor. I still have about 18 months left on my lease and the dealership says they can repair the damage for $510 because I have 40000 mile on the vehicle and it's not under warranty anymore. I really would like to just terminate the lease. Do I have any grounds to terminate the lease and if so who should I contact? Has anyone else ever heard of this?

There was a brief period that the 7/70 was dropped and warranty was 3/36 until they adopted the lifetime plan

Well the dealership is not charging me for the c. converter. And according to my talk with them yesterday. They aren't 100% sure what caused the fuel problem. They just told me that c. converter got cherry red from the excess fuel problem. Thanksfor the response.
