Have a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica with a 3.5 that is a no start but cranks.

initially it wasn’t getting fuel. Banged on the tank and it ran. Brought it in and did the fuel pump. It worked after that for a few days then went back to not running again.

brought it back in and discovered the sending unit pressure line that runs across to the pump was broken. Replaced the sending unit which also fixed the gas gauge not working but it still didn’t run and wasn’t getting fuel to the fuel rail. It has a check valve that connect right before the fuel rail. Was getting fuel to the beginning of that line but not past the check valve. Couldn’t get parts so removed the part and just ran a fuel line with clamps and it fired up right away. Ran fine like that for a week and. Is cranks but won’t start again. Getting fuel to the rail. Cranking sounds weird like low compression. Thought it was flooded maybe and tried the holding throttle down on fuel injected but that causes it to backfire hard out the intake.
