2004: Front AC/Heat not blowing.
2004 Pacifica
Temperature Controlled AC/Heat
Front not blowing rear is blowing.
I've removed the AC Module and it is clean as can be - I know that doesn't mean it's good. How do I know it is bad or not?
The parts guy told me the rear has a separate blower.
So, how do I know it is the module and not the blower itself?
The module is like $85 and the blower motor like $105.
I don't want to replace the module AND THEN have to replace the blower.
How do I know which is bad.
The vents front feel cold to the touch but nothing is blowing out.
Thanks

$105 for a blower motor??? Where on earth are you looking? That is more like $35. I'd think that if you can feel cool air present at the vent, then the blower isn't pushing the air. The blower is under the passenger side of the dash. Turn it on and feel or listen for operation of the motor.
Jeez, more than 100 VIEWS and not a response...not good for a forum imo, c'mon folks!

Im researching for the same problem with front blower...it was running on high at all times while on and when i tried to switch off it would run even higher. yesterday it shut off and i could smell a faint electrical smell from passenger side ( where module is located)..im just wondering if the motor blew out or if its normal to detect a smell from the module when it goes out
